Each course is 3 days. The focus of these modules is on the introduction and implementation of the specific Lifecycle phase, and coverage of the principles, processes and related activities.

This three-day instructor led course in an intensive, interactive workshop consisting of formal lecturing, discussions, exercises, presentations and mock examination questions.
• On the last afternoon of the course there is a 40 question multiple choice examination of one hour.
• The main objective of the ITIL Foundation is to obtain knowledge of the ITIL® terminology, structure and basic concepts and to comprehend the core principles of ITIL practices for Service Management.
• The course enables delegates to understand how an integrated IT Service Management framework, based on ITIL best practice guidelines, can be adopted and adapted within their own organisations following the new service lifecycle approach.
PLANNING, PROTECTION AND OPTIMIZATION CERTIFICATE
The ITIL Intermediate Qualification: Planning, Protection and Optimization (PPO) Certificate is a freestanding qualification, but is also part of the ITIL Intermediate Capability stream, and one of the modules that leads to the ITIL Expert in IT Service Management Certificate.. Course Description
This qualification will bridge the gap between the ITIL Manager’s Certificate in IT Service Management and the ITIL Diploma in IT Service Management. This course is only intended for those holding a valid ITIL Manager’s Certificate in IT Service Management based ITIL versions 1 and 2. Students wishing to progress to the Advanced ITIL Diploma in IT Service Management must provide documentary evidence of attaining this qualification (and the earlier Manager’s Certificate) before being allow to progress to the Advanced Diploma level.
